RingfortAll the 1st Year students visited the National Heritage Park in Wexford on the 21st of October. They embarked on their journey at 9 a.m and were greeted by the kind staff of the centre. They saw crannógs, wattle and daub houses, dolmens and some farm animals to mention a few! Afterwards they had a visit to the County Museum at Enniscorthy Castle, which has been recently done up. There they saw the Medieval Exhibition and especially the Wall Art in the dungeons!  Despite the weather not being on their side, the day was most enjoyable for all.

Many thanks to Mr. Dale Hennessy, Ms. Sarah O’Hara, Mr. John O’Neill, Ms. Rosemary Lawlor and Ms. Ciara Grufferty for organising the trip and taking care of us.
