On 25th May, representatives of South East Radio and The Talbot Hotel Wexford arrived at our school to present the South East Radio/ Talbot Hotel Junior Outstanding Achievement Award to 1st Year student, Niall Kehoe (M. I), Marshalstown. This award recognises students from Primary and Secondary Level Education, who must be in school during that calendar year, who are doing remarkable things.

Niall was recognised for his creation of five iOS apps (three games, one for remembering ideas and one for people with disabilities and speech impediments). He was presented with the award in front of his friends and family. Niall has also won a day out in Leisure Max Wexford. Niall, along with Billy Lee, Ballygarett, and Eamon Lalor, Ballon (both Marie I).  They are in the process of designing a school app to aid students with Dyslexia,  which they will present at the BT Young Scientist Exhibition next year.
