The SciFest programme consists of four distinct strands – local, regional, national and international. The aim of the programme is to encourage a love of science, technology and maths through active, collaborative, inquiry-based learning and to provide a forum for students at local, regional and national level to present and display their scientific investigations.

Three of our students, Ciara Carroll, Clonegal, Kate Kirwan, Kildavin and Niamh O’Dowd, Camolin, attended the National final of Scifest on Friday 10th of November with their project “Measuring Radon Awareness”. They were presented with a glass plaque for their achievement of reaching the National final in which over 10,000 students had entered. Congratulations to all three students.
