As part of the events of Active schools / Healthy Eating week in F.C.J. Secondary School, Bunclody, the school’s first Tractor Run was held.   It took place from the school to the village of Kildavin and back – a distance of roughly 9.5 kilometres – on Wednesday, April 11th.

At the same time over 980 students, teachers, and supervisors walked the same distance.  Both drivers and walkers wore maroon T shirts with the school crest stating “FCJ Says No to Bullying” on the front with “No Bystanders Here” on the back.   Great credit is due to the 15 student tractor drivers and their families.   A cheque for €3,575 has been sent to the Irish Cancer Society.
