“My Feel-Good Factor During COVID-19”
Competition and Winners

In the month of October we ran a WELLBEING COMPETITION for First, Second and Third year students – “My Feel-Good Factor During COVID-19”.

This is what the students were asked to do:

“Write, in any form (short or long), about what keeps you happy during these difficult days of COVID-19.

Your entry can take any form, a short description, a diary entry, a letter to someone you love (or have lost), a poem, a song … the choice is yours!

The best overall entry will win a substantial cash prize and a selection of the best entries will be put up on our new school website. Check it out!

It must be your own work.”

A substantial number of students entered and the topic really resonated with them. Many students wrote of how difficult lockdown was for them and their families but they also wrote positively and recognised the value of little things we all take for granted. Some of the entries had a real level of maturity that all of us can learn from.

Thank you to all the students who took the time to enter. Well done all! ?

To the right, you will find a selection of those entries, with the winner and two special prize awardees highlighted.

Student Wellbeing Coordinator.
